Android Game Development

In my opinion the best opensource free 2d game engine is AndEngine.

It has a java compatible Box2d implementation.

The engine has a wonderful sprite and audio controller.

There are lots of tutorials that help you get started with it.

Android - How to change your ringtone without root

So you have an android phone with Jelly Bean and want to know how to change to a custom ringtone and notification tone? You do not want to root your phone and want something that does not require root access to do this. This is easily done with ES File Explorer File Manager. It is a free application that you can download from the link below.

All you do is open ES and find the audio file that you want. ES should open your SD card by default. Long click it and choose “open as” and choose “audio” then “ES Media Player”. Once it is loaded it will play so pause it. Right by the filename is a little bell icon. Click on that and choose what type you want to save it as. Easy as that with no need to root your phone!
